Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week (15-21 May) and this year’s theme is ‘anxiety’. Visit the Mental Health Foundation website to find out how to get involved and to access resources to support Mental Health Awareness Week.
In anticipation of this important week, we feature exhibitions and research that explore the much-debated topic of how we can live well with technology, how we can connect with communities and in particular, support the mental health of diverse and underrepresented groups. We also highlight collaborative projects that tackle a number of challenging mental health and wellbeing issues including violence and abuse, loneliness, neurodivergence and identity.
There are a number of landmark events coming up next week, including Let Silence Speak at Science Gallery London, a half day event to explore how we can mobilise the patient creative voice as an asset for healthcare.
Our bulletin is circulated both within and beyond King’s, and we’d love to hear more about your work in creative health. Please continue to send us your news about events and opportunities. You can email us at: artshealthwellbeing@kcl.ac.uk.
