Managing your money wisely will help you make the most of your budget. The Money Mentors are current students who share their experiences of living in London on a student budget. They offer tips to help you evaluate your spending, save money and make the most of your time at university. You can also access the Blackbullion financial education hub to enhance your finance skills and make use of free budgeting tools.

On Student Services Online, you can also find answers to a range of queries on housing and accommodation support.

If you are moving into private-sector accommodation in the UK for the first time, we recommend that you undertake our module Signing a Private Contract to know your rights and responsibilities.

If you are a full-time student living in a private hall of residence or renting from a private landlord, you may be asked by your local council or landlord to prove your student status.
